Kiosks are a problem

Kiosks are a problem

From Neraca

Ever since Jl. Petojo and Jl. Kaji in central Jakarta were
transformed into temporary shelter for traders of Petojo Market,
which is currently undergoing renovation, the roads have been
packed with people.

Traffic flow is frequently obstructed by the additional rows
of new, blue-colored sheds that take up part of the roads.

This eyesore pesters me. As a citizen, I am disadvantaged by
the presence of these kiosks. The kiosks are built right in front
of our house. We are also in bad need of parking space and guests
are forced to park their cars meters from my home. Before the
kiosks were built, they could easily park in front of our home.

The present situation is inconvenient to my guests and it also
interferes with my business since many customers avoid my shop
because they can no longer find a parking space.

I appeal to the authorities to relocate the temporary kiosks
immediately. The public should not have to be inconvenienced by
the kiosks and cope with this unsightly eyesore.
