King Abdullah II Praises Prabowo's Stance on Gaza Peace!

King Abdullah II of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan praised President Prabowo Subianto for his commitment to peace in Gaza, Palestine. This was revealed during the introductory remarks of a bilateral meeting between the two heads of state at the Basman Palace, Amman, Jordan, on Wednesday (25/2/2026).

King Abdullah II appreciated Indonesia’s efforts in promoting a two-state solution to the conflict.

“This is something that warms all our hearts. I know that you are committed to bringing peace and tranquility, and once again your very courageous commitment to protecting the people of Gaza, I think is very important. And I look forward to this discussion about how we can help our brothers and sisters in that regard,” said King Abdullah.

In addition, King Abdullah II also expressed Jordan’s readiness to support Indonesia’s role in these efforts. According to him, Indonesia has a strategic position both politically and economically.

“Once again, I think your political weight and Indonesia’s economic strength in many major projects in this region are very, very important, and I know that your country has just begun to take steps in that direction,” he said.
