Killer machine

From Rakyat Merdeka

State Minister of Human Rights Affairs Hasballah M. Saad said at the 40 days commemoration of the death of House member Tgk. Nashirudin from Aceh that in the past two months more than 100 mutilated bodies had been found in Aceh. Others reported the number may have reached 200. All victims, except those shot dead, bore the same stab wounds at the throat. The bodies were mutilated afterwards.

Killing innocent Acehnese in such a cruel way has caused great concern among many people. If the perpetrators of the killings contend to be religious people they would not have the heart to commit such acts against their brethren especially if they become killer machines.

Strangely these incidents took place at a time when many sympathizers of the Free Aceh Movement declared their repentance and their loyalty to the unitary state of the Republic of Indonesia, to Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution. It does not make sense and it is very improbable that these savage acts were committed by members of the Military (TNI) or the Police (Polri). How is it possible that the sincere statement by members of the Free Aceh Movements is answered with slaughter? Who then have become killer machines against the Acehnese?
