Kiky Saputri's Stand-Up Performance Delights Attendees at JFF 2026
Stand-up comedian and presenter Kiky Saputri entertained attendees at the Jogja Financial Festival (JFF) 2026 at the Jogja Expo Centre (JEC) in Bantul on Saturday, 23 May 2026. Her stand-up routine drew enthusiastic applause and prizes were handed out from the audience.
DetikJogja observed that Kiky took to the stage at around 15:49 WIB, greeting the audience with ‘Assalamualaikum Yogyakarta.’ She opened her set with a quip that often straddles the edge of danger. ‘But here in Jogja I’ll say, I’ll fight back,’ she declared, eliciting applause.
She invited interaction by addressing attendees in the front row, including CT Corp Founder and Chairman Chairul Tanjung. Anggito Abimanyu, head of the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS), was also drawn into the interaction.
Kiky’s stand-up material tackled financial topics. She invited the audience to laugh at current conditions, ranging from Jogja’s relatively low minimum wage to teachers’ salaries and beyond. ‘If you look at your wallet, you pray more often. Astaghfirullah, ya Allah, it is empty. What should I plant—palm oil—to stop it being empty?’ she quipped.
Her material touched on the phenomenon of reluctance to save and instead impulsive shopping under the pretext of self-reward. ‘Better to save where? In a bank, because it’s insured by what? LPS,’ she said.
In addition to the stand-up performance, Kiky also posed several quiz questions to the audience. Those who answered correctly received prizes.
Jogja Financial Festival 2026 itself ran for two days, 22-23 May 2026, at JEC Bantul. The event featured activities ranging from business talks and educational classes to musical entertainment and a comedy live show.
