Kids represented by aging men

Indonesian children are represented by two men aged over 50 at
the fourth preparatory committee (prepcom) meeting in Bali. They
are Witjaksono Nuradi and Damanhuri Rosadi.

"We were appointed at the last minute back in Jakarta; it
wasn't supposed to be us," Damanhuri said, explaining that
although the children themselves could not go to make their
voices heard, the issue of children was too important to be set
aside.

As no other countries have sent representatives of their
children to the meeting, the two are, in practice, representing
children from around the world.
