Kia Carens EV Pre-orders Open

Jakarta (ANTARA) – Kia Sales Indonesia opened pre-orders for the Kia Carens EV electric multi-purpose vehicle on 26 October 2026.

According to a company press release on Tuesday, the Kia Carens EV is available in four variants: Air Captain Standard, Air 7-seater Standard, Earth Captain Long Range and Earth 7-seater Long Range.

“We offer Standard and Long Range options, each with a six- or seven-seat configuration,” said Welly Nugroho, Vice President of Commercial at Kia Sales Indonesia.

“This means consumers can consider their travel needs as well as the seating arrangement that best suits their family,” he said.

Pre-orders for the Kia Carens EV can be placed through Kia Sales Indonesia’s dealerships and official service channels.

The official price of the electric car will be announced at its launch, but is estimated to range from Rp382 million to Rp432 million.

At the front, it features LED Star Map Connected Daytime Running Lights integrated with the indicators. Star Map LED Connected Tail Lamps are fitted at the rear.

The Kia Carens EV has crystal-cut dual-tone aero alloy wheels.

The cabin features a 26.6-inch panoramic dual display, a two-panel panoramic glass roof, 64-colour ambient lighting and a BOSE audio system with eight speakers.

Other features include ventilated front seats and an air purifier with an Air Quality Index (AQI) display.

Kia has equipped the Carens EV with Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), offering 20 features to support user safety and comfort.

The Carens EV also has paddle shifters for adjusting braking, an i-Pedal feature to help control acceleration and deceleration using a single pedal, and vehicle-to-load (V2L) technology, which can supply electricity to compatible devices through connectors inside and outside the vehicle.
