Khoirudin spreads spirit of sharing and togetherness during Eid al-Adha

Jakarta Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) Chairman Khoirudin conducted the sacrificial animal slaughter and distribution of kurban meat to Jakarta residents at the Chairman’s official residence on Thursday, 28 May 2026. The event, held from morning until noon, was attended by community leaders, kurban committee members, and beneficiaries. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and filled with camaraderie. “Eid al-Adha teaches us about sincerity, compassion, and the spirit of sharing with others,” said Khoirudin. He added that the kurban ritual is not only a part of Islamic teachings but also an opportunity to strengthen social ties and foster community togetherness. “We want this Eid al-Adha to bring tangible benefits, strengthen faith, and deepen brotherhood among residents,” stressed Khoirudin, commonly known as Cing Haji. The distribution of kurban meat was carried out orderly to registered beneficiaries. Khoirudin expressed hope that the spirit of sharing and social concern would continue to thrive among Jakarta residents. “May this year’s Eid al-Adha further strengthen unity and the spirit of sharing for others,” he concluded. Lorin Group Solo slaughtered six cattle and four goats for Eid al-Adha this year. The kurban animal slaughter took place on Thursday, 28 May, at the Lorin Solo Hotel’s mosque area. Perum Bulog Managing Director Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani urged all segments of society to celebrate Eid al-Adha by increasing mutual sharing.
