Jakarta – The Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) at the Attorney General’s Office, Febrie Adriansyah, has finally given an explanation following a flurry of reports linking him to the investigation of three suspected corruption cases currently being handled by the National Police’s Corruption Eradication Corps (Kortastipidkor) together with the Special Crimes Directorate (Ditreskrimsus) of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police.

Febrie’s name came into the spotlight after his private residence in the Sentul area, Bogor Regency, was said to be among the locations searched by investigators. At the same time, various other issues emerged linking him to a number of locations and cases, as well as rumours of his resignation from the post of Jampidsus.

In response to this information, Febrie chose to provide clarification openly. He stressed that his current focus remains on resolving the various priority cases being handled by the Attorney General’s Office.

“As we know, there has been so much reporting and circulating information regarding the law enforcement actions carried out by National Police law enforcement officers,” Febrie said on Friday, 10 July 2026.

Sentul house confirmed as private property

One issue that has drawn public attention is the search of the house in Sentul linked to him.

Febrie acknowledged that the house is indeed his private asset. However, he stressed that he has owned it for a long time and that the entire ownership process can be accounted for.

“The Sentul house is indeed the Jampidsus’s private residence, one that he has had for a long time; the ownership process can be examined,” he said.

He affirmed that nothing is being concealed regarding the ownership of the house, as all documents can be traced in accordance with prevailing regulations.

Responding to reports of cash found

Besides the house, Febrie also responded to reports that money was said to have been discovered during the search process.

According to him, the money has a clear owner and its entire origin can be accounted for through legal mechanisms.

He therefore chose not to elaborate in detail at a press conference and requested that the matter be addressed through the ongoing legal process.

Denies links to a business in Cipete

Febrie also set the record straight on reports connecting him to Cafe de’CLAN Signature and Koin Money Changer in the Cipete area of South Jakarta.
