The Kepulauan Seribu Police have organised a blood donation drive in celebration of the 80th Bhayangkara Day, which falls on 1 July 2026. The force also used the occasion to share with online motorcycle taxi drivers and fishermen. Kepulauan Seribu Police Chief AKBP Argadija Putra stated that the activity was a manifestation of the Indonesian National Police’s social concern for the community and was held to strengthen the relationship between the police and the public. The event began with a blood donation drive at the Wicaksana Leghawa Hall of the Kepulauan Seribu Police on Thursday (18/6/2026). Attendees included the Kepulauan Seribu Police Chief and his staff, as well as members of the Bhayangkari Kepulauan Seribu Branch. Beyond internal police personnel, the Community Security Belt (Sabuk Kamtibmas), comprising online motorcycle taxi drivers and fishermen, along with journalists from the Kepulauan Seribu Journalists group and members of the public, also participated in the blood donation drive. Through this activity, the Kepulauan Seribu Police not only performed a health service but also strengthened synergy and partnership with all elements of society that have contributed to maintaining public security and order in the Kepulauan Seribu region. AKBP Arga stated that the involvement of the Community Security Belt, the online motorcycle taxi community, fishermen, and journalists symbolises the strong collaboration between the police and the community in building a safe, healthy, and harmonious environment. ‘We are taking advantage of this 80th Bhayangkara Day momentum to strengthen ties and togetherness with all of the police’s partners. Blood donation is not just a humanitarian activity, but also a form of shared concern to help those in need,’ said AKBP Argadija Putra in a statement on Saturday (20/6/2026). The event proceeded with enthusiasm from the participants. Beyond providing benefits for blood recipients, the activity also served as a means to strengthen the good relationship between the Kepulauan Seribu Police and the community, fishermen, online motorcycle taxi drivers, and journalists who are part of the Community Security Belt. Through this activity, the Kepulauan Seribu Police hope that the spirit of togetherness, social concern, and synergy between the police and the community can continue to be robustly maintained to preserve security and order and support development in the Kepulauan Seribu region.
