Kendari Prosecutors Raid State-Owned Pos Indonesia Office Over Corruption Allegations
The Kendari District Prosecutor's Office (Kejari) conducted a raid on the Pos Indonesia office in Kendari city, located on Jenderal Ahmad Yani Street in the Lepo-lepo area.
According to reports, the raid was carried out by the Special Crimes Division (Pidsus) of the Kendari District Prosecutor's Office on Monday (23/6/2025) at 18:00 WITA, in connection with alleged corruption offences at the Pos Indonesia office, which is a state-owned enterprise (BUMN).
Several prosecutors were present during the raid, including the Head of the Special Crimes Division (Kasi Pidsus) Marwan Arifin, Head of Intelligence at the Kendari District Prosecutor's Office Aguslan, and several staff members.
The raid commenced at 18:00 WITA and concluded at 20:00 WITA. Several rooms at the Pos Indonesia office were searched, including the Finance and Assets Division, the Human Resources and Finance Division, and the Executive General Manager's office.
Inside the Finance and Assets Division, prosecutors entered a vault containing financial transaction documents belonging to the Pos Indonesia office in Lepo-lepo.
Following the search, the Kendari District Prosecutor's Office was observed seizing several financial documents from the Pos Indonesia office. The documents were placed into large boxes and subsequently loaded into the prosecutors' vehicles to be used as evidence.
Head of Intelligence at the Kendari District Prosecutor's Office, Aguslan, declined to comment to the media regarding the raid on the state-owned enterprise's office in Kendari. When asked whether the raid was related to a corruption case, Aguslan also refused to comment. "I'll inform you later," he said as he made his way to his vehicle and departed from the Kendari Post Office.
