The inauguration of the ASN Housing Facility at Casa De Prima in Cikarang Barat and Casa De Prima in Cikarang Pusat was held in Cikarang Barat, Bekasi Regency, on Tuesday, 19 May 2026. This marks a commitment to improving the welfare of government employees.

‘This is an effort by the Ministry of Immigration and Corrections to enhance the welfare of staff through provision of homes that are comfortable, habitable, and affordable, which is the foundational step for our civil servants to serve the community with excellence,’ said Immigration Minister Agus Andrianto during his speech at the site.

He said that in the initial phase, 34 and 9 shophouses in 60 buildings at Casa De Prima have been completed. Then at Cikarang Pusat, 78 units are targeted to begin in early June 2026.

Agus noted that the ASN housing facilities at Cikarang Barat and Cikarang Pusat are highly special and worthy of pride, as they prioritise inclusivity and the use of a green economy concept.

‘The building materials used in this housing utilise FABA (fly ash bottom ash), which is waste leftover from burning at the PLTU PLN, processed productively into house structures, bataton, paving blocks by skilled hands of inmates at Tangerang Class I Penitentiary,’ he said.

Additionally, Agus continued, the housing facilities are supported by a mortgage facility (KPR) from PT BRI. The flat interest rate of 7.5 percent for 25 years provides important support for employees to own homes near their workplaces.

‘This is a very good opportunity. I urge colleagues to make the best use of it so that the government’s wise direction can be implemented. And we are not apart from the support of all parties,’ he explained.

‘PLN, especially, which has spearheaded the use of FABA waste since the outset—not only in Tangerang but also in Nusakambangan, and even in several prisons and detention centres across Indonesia, there are eight, if I’m not mistaken, that have already received FABA waste assistance from PLN. Hopefully this can contribute to affordable prices and cheap homes that can be enjoyed not only by employees but also by the public,’ he concluded.
