Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Villages and Underdeveloped Regions (Kemendes PDT) has extended the deadline for data entry in the ranking of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) and Joint BUMDes (BUMDesma) until 10 May 2026.

According to Theresia Junidar, Director of Institutional Development for Village and Underdeveloped Region Economy and Investment, the previous deadline for data entry was set for 18 April 2026, but evaluation results showed that many BUMDes had not yet registered or completed their data input.

“Because not all BUMDes have registered for the ranking, we are extending the data entry period until 10 May 2026,” she said during the Socialisation of the 2026 BUMDes/BUMDesma Ranking, which was followed online in Jakarta on Wednesday.

Furthermore, she explained that as of now, 40,772 BUMDes and BUMDesma have participated in the ranking system. Of that number, she said, 20,404 BUMDes are still in the data input stage, and 1,705 BUMDes or BUMDesma have submitted complete data.

Next, Theresia stated that the additional time until 10 May is provided so that all BUMDes that have legal entity status can take advantage of the opportunity to complete their data accurately and comprehensively.

According to her, data validity is a key factor in the ranking process because it will influence the formulation of future village economic development policies.

“We hope that all BUMDes can utilise the remaining time to fill in and perfect their data so that this data entry runs optimally,” she said.
