The inauguration of the Working Group of Supervisors (Pokjawas) for the Ministry of Religious Affairs in South Tangerang City (Kemenag Tangsel) for the 2026–2030 period is expected to solidify the commitment to improving the quality of religious education.

South Tangerang City Kemenag Office Head Ahmad Rifaudin stated this during the Pokjawas inauguration at the South Tangerang City Ministry of Religious Affairs Office on Wednesday (8/4).

Rifaudin appreciated the previous Pokjawas for their dedication and extended congratulations to the new Pokjawas members entrusted with upholding the quality of education and institutional integrity.

He also reminded them that this position is not merely a role but a moral and professional responsibility to maintain educational quality and the dignity of Kemenag. “Supervisors must serve as role models, be adaptive to changes, and deliver supervision that has a tangible impact on improving learning quality,” he stressed.

Rifaudin emphasised that Pokjawas plays a crucial role as the frontline in safeguarding educational quality, focusing on integrity, competency enhancement, and cross-stakeholder collaboration. In his view, a humanistic and solution-oriented mentoring approach is key to supporting educational units.

On the same occasion, the 2026-2030 Pokjawas Chair, Tepuri Ali, expressed his commitment to fulfilling the mandate collectively and continuously enhancing supervisors’ capacity to provide better services for madrasahs.

“We hope to carry out this mandate with full enthusiasm and togetherness. Supervisors must keep learning to deliver prime services and support the realisation of Kemenag programmes,” he affirmed.

This inauguration is important and strategic for strengthening the supervisors’ role as the driving force for change in religious education, not only oriented towards administration but also focused on improving learning quality and character building for students.

With a spirit of integrity, collaboration, and innovation, the Kemenag Tangsel Pokjawas is expected to deliver superior, adaptive religious education that has a real impact on society.
