Kemdiktisaintek launches integrated SAPA Diktisaintek services
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek) is seeking to improve the quality of public services by integrating them through the Adaptive Service Access System (SAPA) Diktisaintek.
Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology Brian Yuliarto stressed that public services must prioritise ease of access and openness. Information about requirements and service procedures should be communicated clearly, including guaranteed completion times, so users know what steps they need to take.
“Let us work together to make services easier. There is no need to conceal the requirements. Nor should it be impossible to find out when something will be announced or when the process will be completed. Everything must be transparent,” he said in a statement in Jakarta on Friday.
He said good services should also reduce the need for users to visit offices in person when a process can be completed online.
“If our lecturers or education staff still have to come to a location to take care of something, then our services are not yet good enough,” he said.
The minister also emphasised the importance of simplifying administrative processes through the use and integration of data. He urged the ministry to ensure users do not have to submit documents repeatedly when the relevant data is already available in government systems, including data associated with the Higher Education Database (PDDikti).
These integration efforts should continue to be developed in accordance with applicable rules, while ensuring the security and protection of personal data.
“Please do submit complaints if you have any, because our function at the ministry is to serve all of you, who are at the forefront of progress in technology, science and human resource development,” Brian said.
He also called on the Higher Education Service Institutions (LLDikti) to improve the quality of online services so they are more accessible and efficient.
Brian stressed that simplifying services did not mean lowering requirements. Rather, when users have met the applicable conditions, services should be delivered clearly and promptly.
SAPA Diktisaintek is an integrated portal that enables the public to access various Kemdiktisaintek services through a single gateway.
The portal provides access to 48 services across six service categories on one digital platform. In its initial phase, 11 priority services have been prepared to help users obtain information and submit service requests.
Before submitting an application, users can review service standards, requirements, process stages and the responsible unit. The portal also includes a tracking feature, allowing users to monitor the progress of applications and follow the service process more conveniently and transparently.
