Kemang Café Becomes Filming Location for Lisa BLACKPINK's Movie as Police Manage Traffic
A South Korean film starring actor Ma Dong-seok (Don Lee) alongside Lisa of BLACKPINK has been shooting at various locations across Indonesia, including a café in the Kemang area of Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta.
Mampang Prapatan Police Chief Kompol Wahid Key said the filming took place on Sunday evening (22 February) until 21:40 Western Indonesian Time at a café on Jalan Kemang I, Bangka. Wahid noted that crowds of residents gathered to watch several scenes being filmed.
“At Baronk Café on Jl. Kemang I, Bangka, Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta, today Sunday 22 February 2026 from 17:00 to 21:40 WIB, the area was suddenly bustling. Hundreds of residents watched several scenes from a Netflix film being shot featuring artists Lisa Blackpink, Ma Dong-seok, and Lee Jin-uk, with Lee Sang-yong as director,” Wahid told reporters on Monday (23 February 2026).
Wahid said police, assisted by relevant authorities, helped secure the location. Officers also took measures to prevent traffic congestion caused by the filming activities.
“Police along with other authorities secured the surrounding area to prevent congestion resulting from the filming,” he said.
The film starring Lisa of BLACKPINK is titled ‘Extraction: Tygo’. The shooting period reportedly began on 8 December last year. Filming has taken place in West Bandung, West Java, through to Jakarta.
The film shoot has reportedly obtained permits directly from the National Police Headquarters. Filming locations include West Bandung, Jakarta, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi, spanning the Greater Jakarta metropolitan area.
