Kebon Sirih Bus Stop towards Blok M Temporarily Closed: Check the Schedule
JAKARTA - The Kebon Sirih bus stop in the southbound direction (Blok M) will be temporarily closed due to road repair work impacted by the Jakarta MRT construction.
The closure will take place from 22:00 WIB on 15 May 2026 until 05:00 WIB on 18 May 2026.
This information was announced via the official Instagram account @infotije on Monday (11/5/2026).
“The Kebon Sirih bus stop in the southbound direction (Blok M) will be temporarily closed from 15 May at 22:00 until 18 May 2026 at 05:00 WIB in connection with road repairs affected by the Jakarta MRT construction,” stated the account.
“During the work, TiJe friends can still use the Kebon Sirih bus stop in the citybound direction,” the announcement continued.
Transjakarta also encourages service users to download the TJ:Transjakarta app to facilitate travel and obtain the latest service information.
This bus stop closure is related to the Jakarta MRT infrastructure work currently underway at several points in the Phase 2A project.
Previously, PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) has implemented several traffic arrangements around the Kota Station area to support railway system construction work.
The work includes the installation of rails, signalling systems, and electrical networks from the Bundaran HI Station to the Kota Station line.
Corporate Secretary Division Head of PT MRT Jakarta, Rendy Primartantyo, said the work is part of the CP205 construction package.
In its implementation, several tasks are carried out at night to minimise traffic disruptions, including the lowering of heavy equipment in the Jalan Pintu Besar Selatan area.
During the work period, several road sections experienced limited closures and a traffic open-close system was applied.
PT MRT Jakarta, together with the contractor, has also prepared several safety measures at the project site, including the installation of traffic signs, road markings, and additional lighting for the safety of road users.
With this ongoing work, the public is urged to adjust their travel and utilise alternative routes or replacement bus stops that are available.
