KDM Questions Cimahi Mayor's Courage in Eradicating Illegal Drugs: You're a Military Man, Why Aren't You Brave?

West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi attended a Corruption Prevention Coordination Meeting for the Monitoring Controlling for Prevention (MCP) programme with the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) at the West Java Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM) office on Jalan Kolonel Masturi, Cimahi City, on Tuesday (4/8/2026). Based on observations, the man known as KDM arrived around 08:53 WIB and was greeted by several regional heads in West Java. KDM then embraced Cimahi Mayor Ngatiyana and delivered a pointed remark regarding the rampant circulation of certain restricted drugs suspected to still be freely distributed in Cimahi City. Dedi Mulyadi highlighted the alleged circulation of tramadol in Cimahi, which is reportedly protected by individuals claiming to represent community organisations (LSM). He therefore questioned why local authorities had not taken decisive action against the issue. “How can this be, so much tramadol is circulating. There are residents who have become victims. There are so many NGOs, so no one dares to take action. How is it that the Mayor, who has a military background, doesn’t dare to take action?” Dedi Mulyadi said to Ngatiyana.
