KDM Provides Assistance to Landslide Victims in Cibogo Village, Lembang
West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi has provided assistance of Rp 10 million per family to the victims of the landslide in Cibogo Village, Lembang Subdistrict, Bandung Barat Regency. In addition to providing financial aid, KDM—as Dedi Mulyadi is known—is also preparing houses for the landslide victims. The assistance was given by KDM at the Gemah Ripah Hall of Gedung Sate on Monday (16/3/2026). “The residents affected by the disaster in May 2025 are being prepared with houses because there were five houses that were buried in the landslide and they are now homeless,” said KDM in a written statement on Friday (20/3/2026). At present, the land that will be used for building the houses is being prepared. KDM has instructed the village head to find that land. So far, the affected residents have been staying in other people’s houses or renting homes. In addition to providing assistance to residents affected by the landslide, KDM also gave ‘kadeudeuh’ money to the owners of jongko along the Subang tourist route, particularly those in Cilumber RW 04, 07 and Cilumber RW 12 as well as jongko Ciburial RW 01, with varying amounts. “Yes, we clean it up first. We give an example starting from Subang. Later it will continue to Ledeng and the number could reach hundreds,” KDM concluded.
