KDM Offers Rp 250 Million Bounty for Capture of Fugitive Taufik Hidayat
West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi, known as KDM, has launched a public appeal offering a Rp 250 million reward for the capture of Taufik Hidayat, a man wanted for the savage assault of his girlfriend Yuvita Tri Rezeki (29) that left her blind and permanently disfigured. The suspect remains at large and is currently listed as a wanted fugitive (DPO).
Speaking on Tuesday (23/6/2026), KDM described the attack as a barbaric act in which the victim was confined, tortured, and had both eyes damaged to the point of blindness, with her lips reportedly cut and her entire body blistered and ruined. He expressed his fury over the crime and voiced confidence that the West Java Regional Police would swiftly apprehend the perpetrator.
KDM invited residents across West Java and Indonesia to participate in the search, stating that anyone who locates the suspect, hands him over to authorities, or provides information leading to his capture will receive the Rp 250 million reward. He thanked the police force and called on the public to join the effort to find the man he labelled a barbarian.
The West Java Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection Agency previously disclosed that the victim, Yuvita Tri Rezeki, is undergoing recovery at Hasan Sadikin Hospital in Bandung and will require plastic surgery due to the extensive damage to her face.
