KDM: Flyover and Underpass to be Built in Depok by 2027 as Result of Tax Compliance

Bandung (ANTARA) - West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi has stated that his administration is collaborating with the Depok City Government to construct several infrastructure projects, including a flyover and an underpass, citing the impact of citizens’ compliance in paying taxes.

Speaking in Bandung on Monday, Dedi mentioned that the flyover scheduled for construction in 202<0xC2>7 will be located on Jalan Margonda, Depok, while the underpass is planned for the Citayam area, also in 2027.

“God willing, we will build them next year. Next year, we will construct the Margonda Flyover plus one more, the Citayam Underpass. So, next year in Depok, the City Government will build the Margonda Flyover, while the Provincial Government builds the Citayam Underpass,” said Dedi.

In addition, road improvements are also planned by the West Java Provincial Government and the Depok City Government, including a stretch from the University of Indonesia (UI) roundabout to Jalan Ir H Juanda.

“We also intend to begin roadwork this year through a collaboration between the West Java Provincial Government and the Depok City Government,” Dedi added.

Dedi noted that the installation of street lighting (PJU) is intended not only to provide illumination for road users but also to enhance the area’s aesthetics.

“The road from the UI roundabout towards Juanda will be resurfaced with hotmix and fitted with street lighting to improve aesthetics,” said Dedi.

“My thanks to the people of West Java, including the residents of Depok, who pay their motor vehicle taxes. The money is being put to good use; Depok will always hold a special place in our hearts,” he concluded.
