The transaction value of the Koperasi Desa/Kelurahan Merah Putih (KDKMP) has reached IDR 56.8 billion throughout 2026, with fertiliser emerging as the top-selling commodity with the largest transaction value. Based on data from the KDKMP Management Information System (Simkopdes) accessed in Jakarta on Friday at 15.30 WIB, the total transaction volume for KDKMP was recorded at 54,316 transactions, with a transaction value reaching IDR 56.8 billion. NPK Phonska fertiliser was the commodity with the largest transaction value, amounting to IDR 15.09 billion from a transaction volume of 8.17 million. The next position was occupied by Urea fertiliser with 46 percent nitrogen content, with a transaction value of IDR 11.27 billion from a transaction volume of 6.20 million. Minister of Cooperatives Ferry Juliantono stated that the government will strengthen the role of KDKMP as a distribution centre for various subsidised goods to the public. According to Ferry, a limited cabinet meeting led by President Prabowo Subianto decided that the distribution of subsidised goods, such as 3-kilogram LPG, fertiliser, cooking oil, and rice, will be carried out through KDKMP. “God willing, a Presidential Regulation will be issued soon to regulate the distribution of subsidised goods,” Ferry said. Meanwhile, the physical construction of KDKMP outlets is also ongoing. Of the 38,050 land plots proposed, 35,856 have been verified. Of that number, 470 locations have been verified but have not yet commenced construction, 18,855 locations are still in the construction phase, and 16,531 outlets have reached 100 percent construction progress.
