Bandung, West Java — PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) has confirmed that the Whoosh high-speed train service will resume normal operations with 62 journeys per day beginning 14 March 2026 to support public mobility ahead of the Eid holiday period.

KCIC General Manager Corporate Secretary Eva Chairunisa stated that the number of daily journeys had been temporarily adjusted to 42 per day to support work on relocating high-voltage overhead power line (SUTT) cables crossing the high-speed train’s operational route.

“The initial phases of work to relocate the SUTT cables crossing the Whoosh operational route have proceeded safely and smoothly, allowing operational journeys to be gradually increased,” Eva said in a statement received in Bandung on Thursday.

Eva revealed that with normal operations resuming, the departure schedules for the first and last trains will also return to their original times.

From Halim Station, the first departure will be at 06:25 Western Indonesia Time (WIB) and the last at 21:25 WIB.

From Tegalluar Summarecon Station, the first departure will be at 06:05 WIB and the last train at 21:05 WIB.

Tickets for departures from 14 March 2026 onwards can now be booked through various official sales channels, including the Whoosh application, the official KCIC website, and several partner applications.

She added that the SUTT cable relocation work will be conducted in phases. Subsequent phases are planned to resume after the Eid transport operations period concludes.

KCIC has also expressed appreciation to the public for their support during the operational adjustment period and will continue to provide regular updates on the progress of ongoing work.

“Information regarding the continuation of SUTT cable relocation work and any further operational adjustments will be provided regularly to the public,” she said.
