Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) is urging passengers of the Whoosh high-speed train who will be returning to Jakarta during the 2026 Lebaran return flow to make use of the Kereta Pengumpan (Feeder) service to Padalarang Station in order to prevent delays.

“Passengers wishing to return to Jakarta during the return flow are advised to use the KA Feeder from Bandung Station or Cimahi,” said KCIC Corporate Communication Manager Emir Monti at the KCIC Station in East Jakarta on Wednesday.

The Whoosh Feeder Train is a feeder rail service operated by KAI to connect Bandung and Cimahi Stations with Padalarang Station, specifically for Whoosh high-speed train passengers.

According to Emir, this advisory aims to anticipate delays due to traffic density, particularly on the toll road routes leading to the station.

Moreover, the increased volume of vehicles during the return flow has the potential to cause congestion that impacts passengers’ punctuality for Whoosh departures.

“We see that the density on the toll road will cause delays in arriving at Padalarang Station,” said Emir.

Using the KA Feeder is an effective solution because its schedule is already integrated with Whoosh departures.

“Passengers are assured of arriving on time at Padalarang Station if they use the KA Feeder, as the schedules are integrated,” said Emir.

In addition to advising passengers, KCIC has ensured that Whoosh high-speed train operations during the Lebaran transport period are running well without significant disruptions.

Emir stated that all Whoosh journeys have been on time and safe.

“During this Lebaran transport moment, alhamdulillah, all Whoosh journeys have run on time. There have been no significant issues. Everything has proceeded safely and smoothly, with no conditions that could endanger the journey,” explained Emir.

Emir urged passengers to plan their trips carefully, including accounting for travel time to the station, especially amid the high mobility of the public during the Lebaran return flow.

“By utilising integrated services like the KA Feeder, it is hoped that journeys on Whoosh will remain comfortable, safe, and on time,” said Emir.
