KCIC Offers Promotions During Eid al-Fitr 2026 Homecoming Travel

PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) has assured the public of obtaining Whoosh train tickets at affordable prices during the 2026 Eid al-Fitr homecoming rush. This effort is being undertaken by PT KCIC through ticket price reductions of up to Rp 100,000 when purchased through specific methods.

“During the Eid transportation period with increased public mobility, KCIC is introducing a ticket discount programme through sales partners to provide more economical and flexible travel options for passengers,” said General Manager of Corporate Secretary at PT KCIC, Eva Chairunisa, as quoted from Antara on Friday, 20 March 2026.

There are two Whoosh ticket promotion programmes that can be utilised during the 2026 Eid Transportation Period. The first is cashback of up to Rp 50,000 via Livin’ Sukha for the promotion period until 31 March 2026. The purchase channel is through the Livin’ by Mandiri application (Livin’ Sukha feature).

The second is a discount of up to Rp 100,000 on Trip.com for the promotion period until 31 May 2026. The purchase channel is through the Trip.com application and website.

Eva stated that these price cut promotions have proven effective. To date, 145,000 Whoosh train tickets have been successfully sold. “The total tickets sold have reached around 145,000 for the travel period of 13-30 March 2026,” she said.

For sales today alone, Eva continued, PT KCIC has successfully sold 10,000 Whoosh train tickets. The sales volume is estimated to continue increasing and reach 18,000 tickets. Eva hopes that with this promotion, the cost burden borne by homecomers or Whoosh-using tourists can be alleviated.
