Bandung (ANTARA) – PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) has launched two service innovations to mark the third anniversary of high-speed rail operations: a subscription card, the Frequent Whoosher Card (FWC), and Whoosh Prepaid Vouchers.

KCIC Corporate Secretary General Manager Eva Chairunisa said Whoosh’s three years of operation had demonstrated the growing role of high-speed rail in meeting people’s travel needs, including routine journeys, business trips and tourism.

“Our focus going forward is to extend the reach of Whoosh services so that more people can benefit from them,” Eva said in a statement received in Bandung on Monday.

Eva explained that the FWC is a subscription card offering lower fares and flexibility for customers who regularly use the high-speed rail service.

“The Whoosh subscription card is an option for those who need fast, punctual transport with predictable costs,” she said.

Meanwhile, Whoosh Prepaid Vouchers are being offered as an alternative travel gift for a range of purposes, from corporate use and employee recognition to gifts for customers, family and friends.

KCIC will continue to seek passenger growth by developing access to Karawang, Padalarang and Tegalluar Summarecon stations.

“We will continue to develop station access, transport integration and various innovations to support passenger growth while improving service quality,” Eva said.

Eva added that KCIC also plans to expand its customer loyalty programme and ticket promotions to encourage more people to use Whoosh.
