KCIC Clarifies That Rp 100,000 Parking at Halim is Premium Only, Regular Spots Still Ample

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia-China (KCIC) states that the Rp 100,000 parking tariff at Halim Station in East Jakarta is only applied to the premium area. KCIC Corporate Communication Manager Emir Monti said that the premium area constitutes only 10% of the total 600 available parking lots. “From the total of around 600 parking lots available at Halim Whoosh Station, approximately 60 lots or 10% are allocated as premium parking areas,” Emir said when contacted on Saturday (9/5/2026). Emir added that the other 540 lots at Halim Station are still available as regular parking areas. These areas are considered spacious and adequate for the public who do not use premium parking. “Rp 5,000 for the first hour and Rp 4,000 for each subsequent hour,” Emir stated. Furthermore, KCIC emphasises that the services provided to the public using either premium or regular parking are generally the same. The difference between the two types of parking concerns only the location provided. Beyond parking facilities, Emir also confirmed that the KCIC Halim Station area is connected to various public transportation facilities. These include LRT Jabodetabek, airport shuttles, TransJakarta bus stops, and taxi services. In addition, the company continues to strive to provide comfortable services for Whoosh users. “Comfortable, well-organised, and in line with the needs of Whoosh users.” Previously, the management of KCIC Halim Station announced that the East Area 1 Parking in the vicinity would become a premium parking location with a Rp 100,000 tariff. This provision applies starting from 14 March 2026. “Only accepts non-cash payments,” the notice stated.
