Previously, a female passenger on the electric train (KRL) Commuter Line Jakarta Kota-Bogor was reported to have become a victim of sexual harassment. In a video circulating on social media, the woman stated to transit staff that she had just experienced harassment whilst aboard the KRL.

The woman recounted that she initially boarded the Commuter Line from Manggarai Station with Bogor as her destination. Whilst inside the train car, a man allegedly rubbed his genitals against her body from behind.

“He (the perpetrator) said, ‘Ma’am, I rubbed it against you just now. Are you angry with me?’. That’s what he said to me,” the woman stated in the circulating video.
