KBRI KL Scout Group Holds Camp in Preparation for National Jamboree XII
Kuala Lumpur (ANTARA) - The Scout group (Gudep Pramuka) at the Indonesian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur (KBRI KL) held a joint camp for Penggalang and Penegak levels from 12-14 June 2026 in Selangor, Malaysia, as preparation for the upcoming National Jamboree XII.
βOne of the aims of this camp is to provide more comprehensive preparation for the National Jamboree XII this August,β said Gudep KBRI KL Chairman Joko Satria in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.
The camp was attended by more than 50 students from three training bases: Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur (SIKL), Gombak, and Pondok An-Nadloh, accompanied by 10 supervising instructors.
The event, named the Satya Penggalang and Penegak Camp, also served as a key moment for the promotion ceremony of eligible participants and provided an opportunity for others to complete their General Proficiency Requirements (SKU).
According to Joko, a range of activities were conducted during the camp, including nature exploration at Taman Tasik Millennium, a campfire night, and the application of scouting skills. Participants also had the chance to learn scouting techniques beneficial for their future lives.
The KBRI Kuala Lumpur Scout Group actively participates in large-scale events. In the near future, the group will split its participation between two major gatherings: the National Jamboree XII in Cibubur, Indonesia, for Penggalang members, and the Malaysia Jamboree in Penang for Penegak members.
