KBPP Polri emphasises organisational solidarity at 23rd anniversary

Jakarta – The General Chairman of the Indonesian National Police Family Association (KBPP Polri), Evita Nursanty, has emphasised the importance of unity, cohesion, and organisational solidarity in commemorating the association’s 23rd anniversary.

“In the face of the various challenges we encounter, what we hope for, in keeping with this evening’s theme, is that unity and cohesion, and solidarity, remain paramount,” said Evita in a statement in Jakarta on Monday.

Evita made the remarks during the 23rd-anniversary celebration of KBPP Polri, held alongside a joint breaking of the fast in Jakarta on Sunday evening. She added that the Ramadan period should be utilised as an opportunity to strengthen fellowship among members.

Evita stated that the organisation’s increasing maturity should serve as a catalyst for enhancing the integrity of KBPP Polri’s leadership in order to preserve the organisation’s standing.

“All of us as leaders of KBPP Polri must certainly increase our integrity going forward,” she said.

She noted that 23 years represents a sufficiently mature phase for the organisation in addressing various challenges. However, she also emphasised that the organisation cannot rest on its current achievements and must continue to improve in order to build a more solid KBPP Polri.

“Naturally, what we hope for is that as the organisation ages, KBPP Polri becomes increasingly mature,” said Evita.

The event was attended by members of the Central Board, Regional Boards, as well as the Advisory Board and Advisory Council of the organisation.

In closing her remarks, Evita reminded all members and leaders of KBPP Polri to continue safeguarding the organisation’s mandate, integrity, and reputation.
