With projections that Indonesia will become the fourth-largest economy in the world by 2050, we are striving to expand our business reach to support this growth,” stated Kasemsri Charoensiddhi, President Director of KBank Indonesia, in a statement in Jakarta on Monday.

PT Bank Kasikorn Indonesia Tbk (KBank Indonesia) is targeting a loan portfolio of more than Rp40 trillion by 2030 as the company begins its full-scale operations in Indonesia.

To achieve this 2030 loan portfolio target, Kasemsri added that the company has a strategy focused on utilising KBank’s extensive cross-border network in Thailand, China, Vietnam, and other key markets.

“Through this network, we are ready to connect our customers with regional trade and investment opportunities, thereby empowering them to develop their businesses and reach new growth,” she said.

Furthermore, Fitch Ratings Indonesia assigned an AA+(idn) rating with a stable outlook to KBank Indonesia on 17 July 2024, an upgrade from its previous rating of AA(idn).

In its assessment, Fitch directly linked this rating upgrade to the bank’s alignment with Kasikornbank PCL (KBank), noting that the strengthening relationship enhances support from KBank as the shareholder.

Currently, KBank Indonesia operates as a commercial bank providing comprehensive services that combine its national network with the regional capabilities of Kasikornbank PCL (KBank), which is one of the top 10 banks in ASEAN based on total assets.

KBank Indonesia provides versatile financial solutions tailored to the business needs of various scales as well as retail customers, based on its commitment to “Towards Service Excellence.”
