KB Bank Syariah Conducts Coordinated CSR Initiative, Distributes Assistance and Food Parcels

JAKARTA – PT Bank KB Bukopin Syariah conducted a coordinated corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative across its entire operational network on 6 March 2026. The programme included providing financial assistance to orphaned children and distributing food parcels to outsourced employees.

The CSR programme involved senior management and employees from the head office as well as all branch offices. The activities were conducted simultaneously as part of the company’s efforts to strengthen social contributions across various operating regions.

Chief Executive Officer A Iwan Ch stated that the programme forms part of the company’s commitment to not only achieve business growth but also deliver social impact for communities. “We are implementing this initiative as a demonstration of KB Bank Syariah’s commitment to making social contributions. We want to strengthen our values of social concern and support community welfare in all our operating regions,” said Iwan on Thursday (12 March 2026).

The simultaneous implementation across all branch offices also reflects the company’s internal commitment to promoting social values. The programme targets beneficiaries across various regions where KB Bank Syariah operates.

Through this initiative, KB Bank Syariah hopes to encourage a spirit of sharing whilst strengthening the role of Islamic financial institutions in supporting community welfare. Currently, KB Bank Syariah is supported by 26 operational offices and ATM services linked to the Prima and Bersama networks.
