Kazakhstan President ends visit
DENPASAR, Bali: Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev and his wife Sara concluded their official five-day visit here yesterday, departing for home from the Ngurah Rai Airport.
The president and his entourage of 53 people were seen off by Minister of Industry Tunky Ariwibowo, Indonesian Ambassador for Russia and Kazakhstan Rachmat Witoelar, Governor of Bali Ida Bagus Oka, and Chief of the Udayana Military Command, which includes Bali and Nusa Tenggara, Maj. Gen. Adang Ruchiatna.
Antara reported that the president spent his three-day visit on the island by swimming, sailing, and playing tennis. His wife visited an exhibition of handicrafts produced by small-scale and home industries in Denpasar on Sunday.(imn)
