JAKARTA - The home of actor Katon Bagaskara in the Kebayoran Baru area, South Jakarta, was flooded again on Monday night (4/5/2026).

He vented his complaints via his personal Instagram account, directly tagging Governor Pramono Anung’s account in the post.

He stated that the flooding affecting his home was caused by the overflow of the Grogol River, which could not accommodate the water discharge from several apartments.

Bagaskara said the flood height this time reached 1 metre.

“The water is now even higher, about 45 centimetres to 1 metre from the road,” Bagaskara said when contacted by Kompas.com on Monday.

This marks the fourth time Bagaskara’s home has been flooded since 2020, with two of those incidents occurring in 2026.

According to him, there has been no further action from the government regarding the issue.

Despite having previously submitted several proposals to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, there has been no change.

The proposals include drainage repairs, the addition of water pumps, dredging of sludge, and the construction of a reservoir.

“Those are the solutions I proposed to the DKI Provincial Government last March,” he said.
