Kartini Day: Pertamina Patra Niaga Brings Affordable Markets and Health Education for Women
On Kartini Day, Pertamina along with Pertamina Patra Niaga has presented a series of social activities directly targeting the community, particularly women, to commemorate the occasion. This is done with a focus on improving access to health and welfare by providing affordable markets and health education for 1,000 housewives and community members.
One of the main initiatives in this activity is the inauguration of the Mobile Mammography Bus for Indonesian women, which is the result of a collaboration between Pertamina and the Indonesian Breast Cancer Foundation (YKPI). This facility is equipped with a complete set of mobile mammography equipment for breast cancer screening, as well as Pink Check services to increase awareness of early detection among women.
The event was attended by the President Commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero), Mochamad Iriawan, along with the board of commissioners, the Vice President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero), Oki Muraza, the President Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Mars Ega Legowo Putra, and the President Director of PT Pertamina Bina Medika IHC, Dr. Dr. Lukman Ma’ruf. Also present were the Founder and Chair of the Indonesian Breast Cancer Foundation (YKPI), Linda Agum Gumelar, along with Agum Gumelar.
Pertamina’s President Commissioner, Mochamad Iriawan, stated that this activity is part of Pertamina’s commitment to providing real benefits to the community, especially Indonesian women.
“Pertamina will continue to act for the Indonesian people; we will continue to do our best for the Indonesian people. Happy Kartini Day to all Indonesian women, the women fighters for the Indonesian nation,” said Mochamad Iriawan, quoted from his statement on Wednesday, 22 April 2026.
On the same occasion, the Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Roberth MV Dumatubun, added that Pertamina Patra Niaga is actively participating through support for health services and the organisation of affordable markets as part of the company’s commitment to delivering energy and providing real impacts for the community.
“Pertamina Patra Niaga, together with Pertamina in this case, is handing over one mammography bus unit to the cancer foundation. We are also supporting the implementation of affordable markets and health examination programmes for women through this facility,” said Roberth.
Roberth further added that this activity embodies concern for women’s health. “In commemoration of Kartini Day, it is hoped that what Pertamina Patra Niaga has done will be beneficial for all women. This is our step and effort in facilitating the health and welfare of women,” explained Roberth.
