Karawitan and Puppetry Training for Children Aims to Preserve Culture and Support Digital Protection Policy
Children participated in shadow puppet and traditional Javanese karawitan music training at Sindhu Laras Bocah in Semarang, Central Java, on Sunday (21/6/2026). According to the management of Sindhu Laras Bocah, the regular training in karawitan and puppetry for children is an effort to preserve traditional Javanese arts and culture. The programme also supports the implementation of Government Regulation (PP) Tunas by strengthening creative, educational, and social interaction activities in the real world. This is part of child protection in the digital space, aiming to reduce dependence on gadgets and exposure to negative content on social media.
