Karawang Military District Commander Facilitates Handover of 20 Operational Vehicles to Village Cooperatives
Karawang (ANTARA) - Kodim 0604/Karawang has facilitated the handover of operational vehicles in the form of pickup trucks with four-wheel-drive (4x4) specifications to 20 Merah Putih Village/Urban Village Cooperatives in Karawang Regency, West Java.
Dandim 0604/Karawang Lt. Col. Inf. Naryanto stated in Karawang on Monday that his side acted as a facilitator bridging the synergy between the vendor and the cooperative managers at the village/urban village level.
The operational vehicles were handed over by PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara to the Merah Putih Village/Urban Village Cooperatives, facilitated by Kodim Karawang.
The 20 beneficiary Merah Putih Village/Urban Village Cooperatives include those in Balonggandu, Curug, Margasari, Sukamerta, Karangjaya, Banyuasih, and Tambaksumur villages.
The Walahar, Lemahkarya, Pasirkaliki, Gintungkerta, Jatibaru, Pasir Awi, and Jayamakmur village cooperatives also received the operational pickup trucks of the Mahindra Scorpio 4x4 type.
In addition, the operational vehicles were also given to the cooperatives in Sukapura, Cengkong, Lemahmukti, Cariumulya, Ciptasari, and Cicinde Selatan villages.
The Dandim conveyed that the transfer of these vehicle assets is not merely a physical facility but a mandate to improve the welfare of residents through cooperatives.
“These vehicles must become the driving force of the village economy. We hope that with this handover of the fleet from PT Agrinas to the Merah Putih Village/Urban Village Cooperatives, the cooperatives can be more productive and efficient in running their businesses,” he said.
As a facilitator, Kodim Karawang ensures that coordination between the cooperatives and the vendor runs smoothly for the sustainability of the fleet in the field.
It was mentioned that through the synergy between the TNI as facilitator, the village government, and the cooperative management, this programme is expected to become a new milestone in realising village economic independence in Karawang Regency.
