Karanganyar Wins 2026 Investment Service Award, Demonstrating Commitment to Ease of Doing Business
The Karanganyar Regency Government has once again achieved national distinction by winning the 2026 Investment Service Award (Anugerah Layanan Investasi - ALI). This prestigious achievement serves as official recognition of the Karanganyar Regency Government’s sustained performance in providing an investment ecosystem and services that are increasingly fast, transparent, accountable, and provide legal certainty for business actors.
The award for the Regency Government category was received directly by the Regent of Karanganyar, Rober Christanto, during the award ceremony held at the Nusantara Auditorium, Suhartoyo Building, Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Office, South Jakarta, on Wednesday, 16 September 2026.
The trophy and certificate of appreciation were presented by the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Bima Arya Sugiarto, to the Regent of Karanganyar in the presence of ministry officials and regional leaders from across Indonesia.
The 2026 Investment Service Award theme, “Growing Investment, Resilient Downstreaming, Advanced Indonesia,” reflects the strategic direction of national investment policy. This policy focuses not only on increasing capital realisation figures but also on driving added value, strengthening industrial structures, expanding employment opportunities, and creating a broad economic impact for the community.
The Regent of Karanganyar, Rober Christanto, emphasised that the influx of investment into the region must go beyond mere statistics and must align with the improvement of citizen welfare and the equitable distribution of development within Karanganyar Regency.
“Investment in Karanganyar is expected to strengthen the regional economy, create jobs, encourage the growth of MSMEs, and optimise local potential and resources,” stated the Regent of Karanganyar, Rober Christanto, on Thursday, 17 September 2026.
For Karanganyar Regency, winning the 2026 Investment Service Award is positioned as both a driver and a motivation to continue innovating and improving both licensing and non-licensing sectors. Streamlined and certain services are expected to serve as a primary magnet to ensure that both domestic and foreign investors are increasingly confident in committing capital to Bumi Intanpari.
Rober added that this national achievement brings a significant responsibility to all Regional Apparatus Organisations (OPD) within the Karanganyar Regency Government to maintain the quality of public service standards.
“This achievement is not merely an end goal, but a responsibility to continue maintaining and improving investment service standards so that the benefits can expand further to the community,” said Rober.
