Kapuas District Government Distributes Rice and Cooking Oil Assistance
Kuala Kapuas — The Kapuas District Government in Central Kalimantan has distributed food assistance comprising rice and cooking oil allocated for February-March 2026 at Bentuk Jaya Village Hall, Dadahup District.
“For the two-month allocation in February and March 2026, with distribution carried out in a single occasion, each recipient household will receive 20 kilogrammes of rice and 4 litres of cooking oil,” said Dodo, Vice Regent of Kapuas, in Kuala Kapuas on Friday.
According to him, this rice and cooking oil assistance, as one of the 2026 economic stimulus measures, is a presidential directive programme distributed through Perum Bulog.
“In Kapuas District, there are 34,816 beneficiary families. Each family receives rice assistance of 10 kilogrammes per month and cooking oil of 2 litres per month,” said Dodo.
“This programme is a concrete manifestation of the government’s concern for poor and vulnerable families, whilst also serving as an effort to maintain public food security,” he added.
He also expressed gratitude to the President of the Republic of Indonesia through the National Food Agency and Perum Bulog for the food assistance programme for the community.
The regional government has also tasked relevant regional apparatus units together with TKSK, PKH facilitators, Community Social Workers, and all village heads and sub-district leaders to support the distribution of this programme to ensure its smooth implementation.
