Kapolri Cup 2026 strengthens synergy across ministries and agencies
The 2026 Kapolri Cup badminton championship has become a venue to strengthen synergy between ministries and agencies through the spirit of sportsmanship and togetherness.
Speaking in Jakarta on Sunday, the Head of the Public Relations and Documentation Section for the 2026 Kapolri Cup, Inspector General Ahmad Ramadhan, stated that the championship provides more than just matches; it fosters closer relationships between institutions. “The Kapolri Cup serves as a forum to strengthen social ties and reinforce synergy across ministries and agencies,” he said.
According to the Indonesian National Police (Polri) Public Relations Division, the championship was attended by numerous high-ranking officials, including the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency, Nusron Wahid; the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Bahlil Lahadalia; the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Commissioner General Ahmad Wiyagus; the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Taufik Hidayat; and the Head of the Special Development Control and Investigation Agency, Aries Marsudiyanto.
Also in attendance were leaders from the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), including the Commander of the TNI Military Police Centre, Major General Yusri Nuryanto, and the Commander of the TNI Commander’s Legal and Intelligence Staff, Air Marshal Basuko Rochmat, as well as Deputy Attorney General for Prosecution, Hendro Dewanto, and Deputy Attorney General for Supervision, Rudi Margono.
Chief of the Indonesian National Police, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, also led the closing match of the Kapolri Cup 2026 exhibition game held on Saturday (1/8).
Ramadhan noted that the presence of these officials reflects the close synergy between institutions in supporting the execution of government duties, law enforcement, and public service. He emphasised that the solidarity between the National Police and the TNI is a vital component in maintaining national security stability, while collaboration with the Attorney General’s Office strengthens professional and just law enforcement.
Furthermore, the attendance of ministers, deputy ministers, the Audit Board of Indonesia (BPK), and various other agencies demonstrates cross-sector support for the government’s strategic programmes. Ramadhan also highlighted that the involvement of NPCI athletes represents support for persons with disabilities by providing equal opportunities to compete and achieve.
He expressed hope that the spirit of togetherness built during the 2026 Kapolri Cup would strengthen communication and coordination between agencies in performing their duties for the public. “The better the relationship between institutions, the stronger the coordination in providing services to the community,” he concluded.
