KANA Furniture x Rina Renville Collaboration Brings Indonesian Cultural Narratives to Furniture Design

KANA Furniture, part of Integra Group, officially launched an exclusive collaboration collection with Indonesian designer Rina Renville through the Grand Launch of the KANA x Rina Renville Collaboration, held at KANA Kemang, South Jakarta. The collaboration embodies KANA Furniture’s commitment to create designs that are not only functional and aesthetic but also carry stories and Indonesian cultural values.

Through this exclusive collection, KANA and Rina Renville draw inspiration from elements of local culture, which are then translated into furniture designs that are modern and relevant to contemporary lifestyle.

The launched collection covers a range of furniture categories, from living, dining to working collections, designed with a strong design character and touches of Indonesian culture. Some designs in this collection are inspired by elements of nature and cultural symbols such as flowers and staffs, which are processed into elegant and contemporary design interpretations.

Designer Rina Renville also conveyed that the collaboration arose from a shared vision to elevate Indonesia’s cultural wealth through design. “We have the same vision to elevate local culture. In line with KANA’s ‘Lokal Punya Cerita’ campaign, this collaboration becomes a way to present new interpretations of Indonesian cultural inspiration into furniture design that can be enjoyed more broadly,” said Rina Renville.

The launch event was attended by invited guests from media, designers, and interior design enthusiasts. The series of events included ceremonial ribbon cutting, tufting experience, and a design talk that delved deeper into the creative process and the story behind the collaboration between KANA Furniture and Rina Renville. Through this collaboration, KANA Furniture hopes to continue delivering design works that are not only of high quality but also carry storytelling value that enriches Indonesia’s design identity in the furniture industry.
