Jakarta - Kana Cooperative is ready to expand its export business network through the opening of a new branch in the PIK 2 area of Tangerang, Banten. Kana Cooperative Chairman Jonathan Danang Wardhana said PIK2 was chosen as it is developing as a new business area with growing economic activity. “The new branch is expected to facilitate coordination, strengthen communication, and accelerate the development of the export business network we are building with members,” he said in a statement in Jakarta on Tuesday. He added that the branch office is not merely a symbol of expansion but part of strengthening the cooperative’s credibility and business ecosystem development. Currently, he added, Kana Cooperative is developing several export business lines, including white sugar, tobacco, and bird’s nest trade. “The development of these sectors is being carried out through collaboration with members and business partners across various regions,” he said. He believes member trust is crucial for the cooperative’s growth, hence the focus on concrete, long-term business development. “We aim to grow alongside members, fostering collaborative spaces and business opportunities that can thrive,” he said. Through the PIK2 branch, Jonathan continued, Kana Cooperative will offer business advisory services, member consultations, business network strengthening, and export business development coordination. Additionally, he said, the business entity will continue to expand service reach and strengthen the business ecosystem, particularly in trade and export sectors. In response, Cahandra Saritua, CEO of PT Nexcore Innovative Solutions and business partner, said the new branch demonstrates Kana Cooperative’s commitment to building a professional business ecosystem. “What is evident is not just growth, but also the seriousness in building long-term business systems and networks. This is crucial for building trust and expanding business networks,” he said.
