Kampung Rambutan Terminal Prepares Night Transport to Serve Return Flow Passengers
JAKARTA - The management of Kampung Rambutan Terminal has prepared night-time transport (AMARI) to anticipate the surge of returnees arriving from late night to early morning at the terminal.
This step is taken because many passengers arrive from various cities during late night to early morning hours, necessitating onward transport services that operate during those times.
Head of Kampung Rambutan Terminal, Revi Zulkarnain, stated that Transjakarta has prepared several night-time transport routes.
“Transjakarta has prepared night-time transport with several routes, namely Kampung Rambutan–Pulogebang, Kampung Rambutan–Harmoni, and Kampung Rambutan–Blok M,” said Revi when met on Wednesday (25/3/2026).
Revi mentioned that 15 fleet units have been mobilised to support the AMARI service.
“The service post will continue until 29 March 2026, especially the service post, we are still assisted by police, TNI, Satpol PP, and firefighters,” he added.
He further noted that as of Wednesday afternoon, 4,103 passengers had arrived at Kampung Rambutan Terminal. This figure is part of the first return flow peak.
Revi estimated that the first return flow peak occurred on 25 March 2026, with the number of arriving passengers potentially exceeding 6,000 people.
“It is estimated that today, 25 March 2026, is the first peak, estimated to reach more than 6,000 arriving passengers. Because as of now around 11:00 WIB, arriving passengers have reached 4,103 people,” said Revi.
“That is from early morning to morning, continuing until night, the estimated number of arriving passengers will also reach approximately 6,000 people,” he explained.
