Kampung Rambutan Terminal Handles Over 22,000 Passengers Up to H+6

Kampung Rambutan Terminal manager Mulyono stated that the figure represents the cumulative arrivals of passengers from 22 March to 27 March 2026. “On H+1, there were 645 passengers with 102 buses, then H+2 had 2,251 passengers with 163 buses, H+3 reached 4,907 passengers with 212 buses,” Mulyono told ANTARA in Jakarta on Friday. He added that on Wednesday (25/3), or H+4 of Lebaran, it became the peak of the return flow with 7,144 passengers arriving using 217 AKAP buses. Subsequently, on H+5, there were 5,896 passengers with 215 buses, while up to Friday afternoon on H+6, the number of arrivals reached 1,665 passengers with 83 buses and is still likely to increase until night time. According to him, the high number of arrivals on H+4 indicates that this year’s return flow was quite concentrated in the few days after Lebaran. Mulyono said that Kampung Rambutan Terminal remains one of the main points of arrival for holiday returnees heading back to Jakarta from various regions in Java and Sumatra. He also mentioned that a second wave of return flow is expected to occur on Sunday (29/3), in line with the remaining returnees after the holiday period ends. To anticipate the surge in passengers, the terminal management has coordinated with TNI and Polri authorities to ensure security and smooth operations during the return flow period. In addition, the terminal management is also collaborating with Transjakarta and JakLingko to prepare connecting fleets for newly arrived passengers, especially from night to early morning.
