Kalideres Bus Terminal Commits to Enhancing Services for Pedestrians
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The management of Kalideres Bus Terminal is committed to enhancing services for pedestrians, one of which involves organising a dedicated pedestrian pathway, especially for users of the Transjakarta bus transport mode.
Head of Kalideres Bus Terminal, Nur Prasetyo, stated that the pathway will be equipped with a canopy from the busway exit to the food court building, which serves as the terminal’s exit access.
“We are providing a canopy as a roof for the footpath for Transjakarta bus passengers so that they can exit the bus more comfortably,” said Prasetyo when confirmed in Jakarta on Monday.
According to him, the presence of a pedestrian pathway equipped with a canopy can protect passengers from hot weather or rain, allowing them to rest in the food court building before continuing their journey.
“This is important in efforts to improve services at Kalideres Bus Terminal,” Prasetyo emphasised.
In addition to organising public facilities, the management of Kalideres Bus Terminal will also conduct socialisation for employees of Bus Companies (PO) as an effort to enhance passenger services.
“We will also provide socialisation regarding services at the bus terminal, especially to PO employees,” Prasetyo revealed.
