Kalibata 11 Primary School Pupils Practise Earthquake Evacuation

Pupils took part in an earthquake disaster-mitigation simulation at SDN Kalibata 11 in Jakarta on Wednesday (21 October 2026). The activity taught students what to do when an earthquake occurs, from recognising an emergency alarm to getting themselves to safety.

Through the simulation, pupils were trained to be better prepared for emergencies and to understand how to protect themselves and reduce the risk of injury. Early disaster-mitigation education is expected to raise awareness and help children develop the habit of responding appropriately when an earthquake strikes.
