Kali Malang bridge obstructed

The bridge over Kali Malang as part of the Jaka Setia
intersection in South Bekasi is now packed with food stalls that
line the sidewalk around the south end of the structure.

The situation forces pedestrians to walk along a very narrow
strip of pavement left vacant by the vendors, while traffic is
generally heavy in the area.

With the stalls and vendors occupying the place, thus spoiling
the otherwise spacious facility, public comfort is reduced and
people passing the bridge are endangered.

A question should therefore be addressed to the district head
of South Bekasi: Is this violation of public order to be left
unresolved?
