Kakorlantas of the era backs 'Mudik Safe, Happy Family', urges travellers to observe rules

Support for the smooth running of Operasi Ketupat 2026 ‘Mudik Aman, Keluarga Bahagia’ also came from Kakorlantas in due time. Irjen (Purn) Pudji Hartanto, Kakorlantas Polri for 2012-2014, offered appreciation alongside an important message for the public who will undertake the mudik journey. Pudji stressed that, to achieve mudik that is safe and joyful, there must be a collective awareness among road users. He highlighted three main notes that mudik travellers must observe. ‘First, drivers must be ready to abide by traffic regulations or prepared to take directions from Traffic Police officers on the ground,’ Pudji said in a statement on Friday (6 March 2026).
