KAI Records 18,745 Passengers Arriving on H+6 of Eid at Pasar Senen Station

Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Kereta Api Indonesia or KAI (Persero) recorded 18,745 passengers arriving on H+6 of Eid 2026 at Pasar Senen Station, Jakarta, which is the highest among other stations in the Jakarta operational area I. Manager of Public Relations for KAI Daop I Jakarta, Franoto Wibowo, when confirmed by ANTARA from Jakarta on Friday, stated that the figure represents arrival data for long-distance train passengers on Friday around 3:00 PM Western Indonesia Time. Furthermore, Franoto revealed that Gambir Station was the second busiest station receiving arrivals, with a total of 15,304 passengers. This was followed by Bekasi Station with 8,755 passengers, Jatinegara Station with 5,039 passengers, Cikarang Station with 2,271 passengers, Cikampek Station with 1,468 passengers, and 1,005 passengers at Karawang Station. Thus, he said, the total number of passengers arriving at all stations in Daop I Jakarta reached 52,587 people. Meanwhile, the number of departing passengers up to Friday at 3:00 PM was recorded at 32,700 people. “So, since the 23rd, arrivals have been more than departures, and this will continue until the 29th; arrivals or passengers returning in this reverse flow average over 50,000 passengers,” he said. In the meantime, he stated that KAI is preparing discounts or silaturahmi promos of up to 20 percent specifically for departures from 25 March to 1 April 2026. “A 20 percent discount for executive class.
