KAI opens job vacancies starting 4 September 2026

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero), in collaboration with KAI Group, is opening its 2026 External Recruitment starting from 4 September 2026 for high school graduates, Diploma 3 (D3), and Diploma 4/Bachelor’s degree (D4/S1) holders.

Franoto Wibowo, Public Relations Manager of Daop 1 Jakarta, stated in an official statement received in Jakarta on Thursday that this recruitment is part of a human resource strengthening effort to support operational reliability, service, and railway business development.

The recruitment process will be conducted through karier.kai.id. This portal serves as a single recruitment channel for KAI and its subsidiaries, allowing access to career opportunities, registration processes, and selection stages for the KAI Group through one integrated platform.

“Through the single KAI Group recruitment portal, the public can obtain information on career opportunities within KAI and its subsidiaries more integrally. This step also supports a recruitment process that is increasingly effective, transparent, and easily accessible,” said Franoto.

For the 2026 External Recruitment, KAI Group is offering positions across various fields, including operations, rolling stock and infrastructure, services, health, administration, logistics, and legal.

Meanwhile, D4/S1 graduates can participate in the selection for positions such as legal administration, logistics and building staff, as well as Sintelis & Facilities Negative Check officers.

Each position has specific requirements and qualifications according to the company’s needs. All information regarding formations, requirements, selection stages, and official announcements for the 2026 KAI Group External Recruitment will be communicated via karier.kai.id.

He added that KAI Group ensures the recruitment process is conducted transparently and free of charge.
