KAI Offers 30% Discount on Lebaran 2026 Mudik Train Tickets, Here’s How to Get It

KOMPAS.com - PT Kereta Api Indonesia is offering a promotion of a 30 percent discount on Lebaran 2026 mudik train tickets. Vice President Corporate Communications at KAI, Anne Purba, said that the Ramadan Festive programme provides an opportunity for the public to plan travel at more affordable rates and to obtain information about train travel ahead of the mudik period. “Ramadan Festive we present to give people the chance to obtain train tickets with lower tariffs while also enabling closer interaction through various digital programmes that customers can follow,” Purba said in a press release on Sunday (8/3/2026).

Discounted fares apply for departures during 9–20 March 2026, with limited quotas according to ticket availability. In addition, there is also a Flash Sale promo for Lebaran 2026 mudik train tickets. This promo is available exclusively through the Access by KAI application on 9 March 2026 from 16:30–17:30 WIB, and applies to travel during 9–20 March 2026.

Meanwhile, for rail services operated by KAI Wisata such as Priority, Imperial, and Panoramic, the Flash Sale promo fares apply to departures from 11–20 March 2026.

Here are the ticket price details offered during the Flash Sale:

• Economy class tickets: starting from Rp 150,000

• Executive class tickets: starting from Rp 300,000

• Panoramic class tickets: starting from Rp 600,000

Promo fares can still be cancelled or rescheduled in accordance with the applicable terms. Information on the timetable and promo programme can be viewed via the Access by KAI app. The promo remains valid while ticket allocations and discount rates last. “Through the Ramadan Festive series, KAI hopes the public can plan journeys more easily and enjoy comfortable train travel during the month of Ramadan,” Purba said.
